The club sponsors archery shoots which are open to the public as well as league shoots for club members only, and also sponsors hunter education courses.

Chilakoot offers many different club activities for the entire family all year round. The club has several parties and other organized activities for club members during the year. Starting in January, each year we hold at least five club shoots that are open to the public. Look on the upcoming shoots page for other public shoots in the area.

2012 Winter Leagues

 We have several winter leagues for club members to participate in. The club offers indoor winter leagues for both adults and children.

Target (Spot) League - Start - Wed., Jan. 4, 2012
Winter Spot League -Wednesday nights starting Jan 4 for 12 weeks. Shoot at 7:00 pm.
Teams of 4 360 round. Members only. Cost - $45. Contact Joe Gohlike.
 

Animal League - Start - Thurs., Jan. 5, 2012
Animal League - Thursday nights starting Jan 5 for 12 weeks. Shoot at 7:00 pm.

Winter Youth League - Start - Sat., Jan 7, 2012
Kids League - Time - Between 9:00 am - 12:00 noon.
Cost - $10.00/ child

2011 Kids Summer League

We usually start a summer Animal League around the last Tuesday in April.  A series of fifteen targets each week, with two shots per target. 12-14 weeks long.

Bring a dish or dessert to pass

In August we have a feast for club members. Summer league awards for teams and children are also presented. 

Broadhead League

Depending on interest, there may be a Broadhead League in August. A chance for everyone to hone their skills for the start of bow hunting season. Fifteen targets with one shot per target.

2011 Annual Christmas Party - Wed., Dec. 9, 2011

Party starts 6:00 pm, Eat between 6:30 and 7:00 pm
Bring a dish to pass
The charity this year is Grace Place, in Somerset
Bring a non-perishable food item & if possible, an unwrapped toy, clothing for kids or adults, or a $$$ donation
Beverages (pop) will be provided

From the opening of Bow hunting Season to the end of the year things are pretty quiet as far as club activities go, with the exception of the club Christmas party in December. Then it's time to do it all over again!

Keep in mind that you don't have to participate in the league events to shoot. Both the indoor and outdoor ranges are available to club members whenever they want to use them (leagues take precedence, however).
