The club sponsors archery shoots which are open to the public as well as league shoots for club members only, and also sponsors hunter education courses.

Chilakoot offers many different club activities for the entire family all year round. The club has several parties and other organized activities for club members during the year. Starting in January, each year we hold at least five club shoots that are open to the public. Look on the upcoming shoots page for other public shoots in the area.

2010 Winter Leagues

 We have several winter leagues for club members to participate in. The club offers indoor winter leagues for both adults and children.

Target (Spot) League - Start - Wed., Jan. 6, 2010
Winter Spot League -Wednesday nights starting Jan 7 for 12 weeks. Shoot at 7:00 pm.
Teams of 4 360 round; Contact Joe Gohlike if you need a team. Fees: current membership
plus $45. Party the last week.
 

Animal League - Start - Thurs., Jan. 7, 2010
Animal League - Thursday nights starting Jan 8 for 12 weeks. Shoot at 7:00 pm. Contact
Ben Controneo. Fees: current membership plus TBA.
 

Winter Youth League - Start - Saturday, January 23, 2010
Kids League - Time - Between 9:00 am - 12:00 noon.
Cost - $10.00/ child

A pizza party/ trophy awards
Youth League is open to all kids under the age of 16.
Club membership is not required.

2010 Chilakoot Summer League

Tues., April 20, 2010 - League Starts

We usually start a summer Animal League around the last Tuesday in April.  A series of fifteen targets each week, with two shots per target. 12-14 weeks long.

July 24, 2010 - Members only 3D & Evening coon shoot
Setup Sat. morning & shoot Sat. afternoon
Potluck & coon shoot afterwards.
Teardown (& breakfast ?) Sun. morning.
Sign up in clubhouse, or contact Hal if interested in attending.

2010 Pig Roast / Corn Feed - Tues., Aug. 17th, 2010
Begins at 5:30 pm
Bring a dish or dessert to pass

In August we have a feast for club members. Summer league awards for teams and children are also presented. 

2008 Annual Float Trip - July 19 & 20, 2008

The third weekend in July, a few weeks before the end of the summer Animal League, we may have a club float trip.

Broadhead League

Depending on interest, there may be a Broadhead League in August. A chance for everyone to hone their skills for the start of bow hunting season. Fifteen targets with one shot per target.

Beverages will be provided

From the opening of Bow hunting Season to the end of the year things are pretty quiet as far as club activities go, with the exception of the club Christmas party in December. Then it's time to do it all over again!

Keep in mind that you don't have to participate in the league events to shoot. Both the indoor and outdoor ranges are available to club members whenever they want to use them (leagues take precedence, however).
